All: All alerts are played

Alerts only: Only alert messages are announced

Beeps only: Warning messages are muted and only audible tones are used

None: All alerts are muted, but they may still be shown visually

Radarbot Volume

The default volume is controlled by the operating system; adjust it lower or higher there.

Play audio through

Allows you to choose which device will output Radarbot alerts.

Default device (recommended)

Default option. Works correctly on most systems.
In this mode, music volume is reduced while alerts or instructions are played.

Phone speaker
Radarbot plays alerts through the phone speaker, even if connected to a Bluetooth system. Recommended if you want to hear alerts on the phone without using the car’s Bluetooth audio system.

Bluetooth phone call
Radarbot sends audio through a simulated call to the car’s Bluetooth system.
If you are playing music (Spotify, YouTube, etc.), Radarbot will pause the music instead of lowering the volume while the alert is played.

Note: When connected to CarPlay / Android Auto, audio output control is managed by the operating system. Refer to the manufacturer’s manual to adjust it.

Use Multimedia Channel in CarPlay (iOS)

Configures audio to play through the multimedia channel instead of the navigation channel in CarPlay.

Sound Test

Allows you to run a test to check that the system is working correctly.

Mute Radarbot during calls

Disable all alerts during a voice call.

Enable voice assistant

Allows you to confirm alerts using voice commands. This way, you only need to tap “New alert” and confirm by voice.

Siri Shortcuts in Radarbot (iOS)

Voice

Allows you to choose the voice engine. Select between the built-in voice or the device’s text-to-speech engine.

Bluetooth Delay (iOS)

If you experience issues when playing alerts via Bluetooth, configure the audio delay.

Text-to-Speech Alerts (TTS)

These options control how the text-to-speech engine behaves.

Play alert comments
