How to Choose a Vehicle Profile in Radarbot
To select a predefined vehicle profile or create a custom one in Radarbot, follow these steps:
Tap the side menu ≡
Tap Settings
Select the My Vehicle option
Please note that if you drive a truck, you will need the Radarbot RoadPRO version to access speed limits and restrictions specific to trucks, such as ADR (hazardous goods).
How to Create a Custom Vehicle Profile in Radarbot
To set up a custom profile that matches your vehicle’s specific characteristics, follow these steps:
From the My Vehicle menu, select the option to create a custom profile.
Adjust the following aspects of your vehicle:
Profile name
Vehicle type: Car, Motorcycle, Moped, Van, Motorhome, Pickup truck, Truck, Minibus, Bus.
Vehicle use: Define the main purpose based on the vehicle type (e.g., personal, commercial, etc.).
Maximum allowed speed: Set the maximum permitted speed for your vehicle; this option allows you to limit speed on roads.
Fuel type: Select the fuel type.
Specifications: Depending on the vehicle type, you can configure additional parameters such as dimensions and weight, restricted tunnels, and type of transported goods (ADR or hazardous).
Once you have entered the details, save your custom profile by clicking ADD so that Radarbot can adjust navigation and alerts according to your vehicle specifications.
